The Story

In the middle of the chaos of Judges, Ruth is a breath of fresh air. A Moabite widow clings to her Israelite mother-in-law Naomi, follows her to Bethlehem, and finds redemption through Boaz — a kinsman-redeemer who foreshadows Christ. Ruth's loyalty ("Where you go, I will go") is legendary, and the twist is stunning: this foreign woman becomes the great-grandmother of King David and an ancestor of Jesus.

Make Me Care

Loyalty, love, and proof that your worst chapter isn't your last

Ruth lost everything — her husband, her homeland, her future. And instead of giving up, she chose loyalty over comfort and ended up in the family line of Jesus. This is the most beautiful short story in the Bible. It says: your worst chapter can become the setup for your greatest one, if you don't quit.

What if the season you're in right now — the hard, unglamorous one — is the setup for something you can't even imagine?
